Avyon specialist logistics support team members have demonstrated their commitment to develop systems and processes that align with strategic asset management intent and funding guidance.

Our logistics experts possess proficiency in capability cost estimation, material acquisition and sustainment support and asset management.

Avyon personnel have been directly responsible for the delivery of all ILS elements of major projects. Avyon has provided Service Release Managers for JP9000 Phase 7, AIR9000 Phase 8 and the JSF Training subprogram. Avyon has participated in ILS design review activities, ensuring integration of the whole ILS effort across disciplines. Our consultants have written transition management plans and actively managed transition to sustainment for projects such as SEA1405, AIR9000 Phase 8 and JP9000 Phase 7.

Avyon consultants are highly experienced in the provision of Supply Chain Analysis and Inventory Optimisation and Planning, having executed a range of major and minor capital projects. Our consultants have experience with OPUS and SIMLOX models and have provided detailed spares analysis in support of acquisition spares for AIR9000 Phase 8 and JP9000 Phase 7. Avyon contributed to a study of follow-on support strategies and options to evaluate and analyse the full scope of support services (across all support constituent capabilities) being provided for the MH-60R Seahawk.

Avyon's recent work includes Systems Engineering, Test and Evaluation, Specialist Avionics and System Safety tasks for MH-60R, Hobart Class DDGs, LAND2097-4 Special Operations, LAND4507-1 Australian UH-60M Black Hawk (UH-60M) capability, 4503 Phase 1 Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter Replacement, Cyber Security, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Survivability, Joint Strike Fighter, P-8A Poseidon, Joint & Air ISREW SPO and the SEA1439 5B2 Electronic Warfare Collins Class Submarine Sensor Upgrade Program. Avyon staff have extensive experience in contract development, design, test and evaluation and acceptance phases for various major capital projects including F-111C, Hawk, S-70B-2, MH-60R Improved Embarked Logistics Support Helicopter Project (SEA9100 Phase 1) and EC-135. In the program management and leadership space, recent projects led by Avyon personnel include Project Vela and the AWD Combat System.

Our team members have extensive experience with the Collins Submarine Program having worked extensively for our client on SEA1439 Phase 5B2 Collins Class Communications and Electronic Warfare Program. Avyon has also been involved in professional engineering services support and project management for the SEA555 Ph7 Navy Afloat Enhanced Electronic Warfare System. Consultants have considerable experience with Collins Class electronic systems including R-ES and C-ES capabilities. Additionally, our team was involved with the installation and trials for the first of type C-ES system installed under DEF224.
